Virginia Beach, VA, July 22, 2015 – Valkyrie Enterprises, LLC, a leading maritime engineering and sustainment provider, has been awarded a contract in support of Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Code 200. The firm fixed price contract is valued at $2.35 million.
Valkyrie Enterprises, and its teaming partners QED Systems and Life Cycle Engineering, will provide support for the Industrial Process Division (Code 220), Test Engineering (Code 246), Planning Yard (Code 280) and other Divisions in NNSY Code 200 (specifically Codes 250, 260, 270, and 290).
The support will include engineering, technical and planning support in the areas of Job Summary, E-Spec, waterfront problem resolution, ship check, marine drawing development, selected record updates and other technical work document preparation, storage and retrieval. Logistics, configuration control and programming support will be associated with material management, Configuration Overhaul Planning, Bill of Materials, improvement initiatives, validations and document / database management.
