Valkyrie is a well-recognized and respected contributor to Navy and Joint Warfighting Readiness. Valkyrie provides leadership and senior-to-mid-level technical expertise in Fleet live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training operations and requirements; tactical and operational levels of war; systems engineering in support of Fleet LVC training systems; waterfront training; and curriculum development.
Valkyrie designs, develops, and fabricates hardware and software solutions to bridge gaps between LVC training requirements and embedded afloat training capabilities for Information Warfare (IW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), and Common Data Link (CDL), which supports multiple warfare areas. We collaborate with the Science and Technology community (Office of Naval Research (ONR) and Warfare Centers (Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWC) Crane and Corona) to research, test, develop, and deliver innovative training capabilities. Valkyrie provides training systems integration and configuration management in support of the Aegis weapons system and Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) platforms across multiple warfare areas, including Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), IW, and BMD, with the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communication (C2BMC) system in support of Fleet LVC training needs.
Valkyrie conducts testing and assessment of LVC capabilities that are provided from shore resources and embedded afloat training systems, which also includes providing procedural solutions, interim technical solutions, and recommended POR developmental solutions. We also provide hands on instruction directly to the Warfighter supporting the Major Combat Operations certification. Additionally, we provide NSWC Corona LVC requirements management and Fleet engagement strategy support to meet Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (CUSFFC)/ Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF) near and long-term Navy LVC goals.
